Romney supporters beware the Janus factor

If you are going to vote for the Romney/Ryan ticket, be careful.

Above is Janus, the god with two faces

Why?
Because this is going to go down in history as the Brother Daryl election.
There were  three young men in the Bob Newhart show. One, supposedly the smart one, introduces his family to Newhart in this way, “This is my brother Daryl, and this is my other brother Daryl.”
We have that same choice in this election.
We can either vote for President Barrack Obama or we can vote for Mitt Romney, or we can vote for the other Mitt Romney, or we can vote for the other Mitt Romney, or we can vote for the other Mitt Romney.
Mitt Romney has been for and against Roe v. Wade.
He has been for and against the Lilly Ledbetter Act.
He has been for and against leaving troops in Iraq.
He is for and against pulling troops from Afghanistan in 2014.
He agrees and disagrees with the president on Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Russia, Pakistan, China and Libya.
He is for and against Medicare and Social Security.
See, no matter what you want in a president, Mitt Romney, over the span of just a short time, has given it to you. He is for and against abortion. He is for and against mining coal. He is for and against cutting taxes for the rich. He is for and against damn near everything, and in some things, such as the abortion issue, he wanted a federal ban on all abortions in 2007 then he changed his mind three times and came to land on his current stance where he is against abortion in all cases except incest or rape. And even in that he even gives us a choice. His vice presidential candidate, Paul Ryan, who walks, looks and quacks like a member of Opus Dei, is totally against abortion even for incest and rape.
Romney was for killing bin Laden, and he was against taking the shot.
Mitt is for banning automatic weapons, and the other brother Mitt is against banning automatic weapons. He is for and against more money for education and he loves teachers.
Why did he do this?
You would think people would realize he is lying and vote for someone else.
But no, he is trying to convince undecided voters, and he knows that if you are still undecided in this election with only a few weeks left, you have been out of the country, or in a coma, or living under a rock, and you haven’t been paying much attention to the fact that most people who have been watching know he will lie to convince any group he needs to vote his way. He has done this his entire short career as a one-term governor and a long-time CEO.
So this is why I say you have to be careful if you intend to vote for Gov. Romney.
The real question a Romney supporter should ask as he or she enters the booth to vote is, “Which Mitt will I get if he wins?”

  1. I’ll bet you ‘47%’ that it would be the ‘other’ Mitt…
