It’s Dec 22 and we are still here – now what?

OK, we made it. The earth didn’t blow up.
But it did rain like hell today, and the wind. Well, we’re still here.
So what happened when all the extraterrestrial stuff lined up in a way it hasn’t done for 26,000 years?
Don’t be so simple as to say, “nothing happened“.
Let’s look at it individually.
I definitely felt more hyper during the past few days. That is something.
I met more happy people today than usual, even during this time of year. That must be something.
For the first time in about 3½ years Congress has actually done something about the economy without hiking the middle class taxes to pay for it. That has to be something..
People are talking honestly about gun control (except for the NRA who now believes we should arm teachers. Sure wish I had been armed when I was a teacher. There were some students and other teachers I might have take a few warning shots at. You think that is flip, then think seriously about what the NRA is proposing. The only thing that would change is that the next headline would be “Teacher flips out, opens fire on school.” We can’t stop gun violence with guns. Seems that would be common sense.
It seems the majority of the people in the United States are now talking seriously about controlling our over abundance of guns and gun violence. That should be something.
We have a president who is being a bipartisan leader. That has to be something.
People believe we can get done in 10 days what couldn’t be done in years. And that optimism must be something.
I guess what I’m saying is, I think something happened.
I’m not sure what it was, but didn’t you feel a little better in the past few days? Don’t things seem just a little more possible?
You can call it a higher frequency, or just a more positive era being formed. It doesn’t really matter what it’s called.
Give it a shot – an honest shot.
Let’s try to keep the vibrations increasing, and keep a positive attitude about what good can happen.
The Mayans meant something by not continuing the old calendar. It is possible they knew something we don’t.
If this is to be a better era, I think it has to begin with all of us believing we can make it happen.
How could that be a bad thing?

  1. Upbeat and optimistic… what a great way to start the new year! For some reason my favorite intonement this time of year (BAH HUMBUG!) seems passe and out of place. So be it John, Merry Christmas!

  2. Thanks John I was feeling a bit shitty-this helped-now I feel bla. Bla is better then shitty.
